There are a lot of people out there struggling with the thoughts and tendencies of suicide and taking their own life in order to help them forget about and end all their problems. A lot of people out there have been through and are going through a lot of serious problems:
  • drug addiction
  • alcoholism
  • traumatic childhood memories
  • abuse
  • sexual assault
  • domestic violence
  • bullying
  • divorce
  • a broken family
  • the loss of a child or a loved one
  • depression
  • loneliness
  • hopelessness
  • mental illness and more

Even certain types of medications can cause a person to have suicidal thoughts and tendencies. And all of these are very serious problems. But trust me, suicide is not the answer. Using drugs and alcohol to cover the pain is not the solution. Reaching out for help is the answer. Getting the help you need is a start. Helping others is a solution as well. And if you or someone you know is having a difficult time then don't be afraid to reach out for help. It will be the best thing you ever do.

Call any of the national suicide prevention helplines listed below. They will talk to you and help you and will do whatever it takes to get you the help you need. Talk to a therapist in person. Call a good friend. Get together with them. You can even chat with friends on Facebook. Just talking to someone can make all the difference in the world. But whatever you do, don't keep all of your problems trapped inside. Don't think about taking your life. Reach out for help and talk to someone right away.

Break through, make it through this so that you can begin to heal and then maybe someday you can help others make it through the same problems that you have been through. Make it through these difficult times and do everything you can to create a new and better life for yourself and for your loved ones. Better things are coming. A better life is coming. Don't be afraid to reach out for help. There are people out here who care about you.

Reach out for help:

Whatever it is you’re going through, whatever problems you’re struggling with, you don’t have to go through it alone. You don’t have to suffer in silence. You can reach out for help and get the help you need. You never know what the outcome will be and the good that can come from reaching out. Things can get better. Things can change. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. It just might be the best thing you ever do.

Have hope - things can change. Life can change:

Whatever it is you’re going through, whatever problems you may have – you gotta try to have hope. Things can change. Life can change. Try to have patience. Sometimes it takes time for things to change. But as long as we’re trying to do the right thing in our lives, trying to live a better life, trying to become a better person, treating others with love, kindness and respect, making things right as best as we can, working hard, being productive, as long as we’re trying to do the right thing in every area of our lives then eventually things can begin to change. It just takes time. In the mean time, be strong, hang in there, do everything you can to better yourself and better your life and just keep moving forward one day at a time. Sending you hope, patience and strength to carry you through.

You may have a greater purpose in life:

You may feel that you no longer have a reason for living, but maybe, you just haven't found your reason for living yet. You may have a greater purpose in life than just living a normal regular life. Find your purpose in life. Start thinking about it, then start living it. And if you’re not able to find your purpose yet then don’t worry,.. just keep trying to do the right thing in your life and eventually your purpose in life will be made known to you. Keep moving forward. Better things are coming.

Sincerely,
Jorge (George) Fernandez
