It Takes A Village is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce health and social disparities among people of color in the Denver / Aurora, Colorado metropolitan area. It Takes A Village programs are based upon theory based interventions which have been researched and adapted to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Key To Life provides group, family and individual counseling employing dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Stout Street Foundation
Stout Street Foundation (SSF) provides the necessary services and support in a totally structured therapeutic community environment to assist addicts and alcoholics to help themselves in rehabilitation, recovery, and transition in returning to society as productive and responsible citizens. SSF operates as a not for profit, self-sufficient organization without primary economic dependence on municipal, state, or federal funding. Within the structured environment, Stout Street Foundation will provide for food, lodging, and specific programs and treatment for residents. Stout Street has helped thousands of individuals over the years and continues to treat over 400 individuals a year. In October of 2006 we opened the doors to our 28 day drug and alcohol intensive residential program Serenity. With the addition of Serenity, Stout Street Foundation is now able to offer our services to an even larger demographic and continue to be "Helping People Help Themselves" right here in the Denver Metro area of Colorado. The Recovery Center
The Recovery Center (TRC) offers comprehensive outpatient, substance abuse and mental health treatment services to adult men, women, pregnant women, women with children, adolescent men and women, and families. Programs include treatment formats such as enhanced outpatient treatment, traditional outpatient treatment, adolescent outpatient treatment, adolescent school-based programs, adult and youth relapse prevention, specialized treatment services for women and pregnant women, specialized treatment services for men, DUI education, DUI Therapy, and Victim Impact Panels. We also offer a broad continuum of ancillary care including nutritional counseling, employment counseling, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), comprehensive drug testing, family wellness, and anger management. TRC is committed to a high quality of service delivery. As such, each counselor attends group and individual supervision as well as ongoing drug and alcohol related training and staff development.
