Addiction is recognized as a chronic disease by the World Health Organization, the American Medical Association, the National Institute of Drug Addiction, the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and many others. Colonial Management Group, CMG, provides Methadone and Suboxone treatment programs. CMG operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping these individuals and their families regain control of their lives. Addiction is recognized as a chronic disease by the World Health Organization, the American Medical Association, the National Institute of Drug Addiction, the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and many others. As such, addiction has been clinically proven to be managed with appropriate medication and counseling. Our comprehensive treatment programs begin with a detailed psychological assessment and initial treatment plan at induction. Our highly skilled staff then guides patients through a medically supervised stabilization period that integrates individual, group and family counseling along with state of the art medication treatments such as methadone and Suboxone, followed by continuing outpatient care throughout the medical maintenance phase. Suboxone, which is a sublingual combination tablet containing buprenorphine and naloxone, is a treatment option available to you at Colonial Management Group clinics. Our addiction professionals can assist you in determining if Suboxone is an appropriate choice that meets your needs. When the treatment plan is followed, and the medications are taken as directed, this treatment philosophy is proven to suppress symptoms of opiate withdrawal, decrease cravings for opiates, reduce illicit opiate use, block the effects of other opiates, and assist patients in staying committed to treatment and a lifestyle of recovery. We take great pride in treating our patients with dignity and respect in each phase of their treatment experience. Please contact the Colonial Management Group clinic nearest you for any further information regarding Suboxone treatment for opiate addiction, or, for any opiate addiction treatment questions you might have.

We help our clients learn how to live their lives as acceptable members of their communities, free from addiction and substance abuse, by providing a environment conducive to recovery. We provide strict monitoring and structure, case management, random drug and alcohol screening, and the opportunity to seek employment and work in the community. Choices Counseling Services offers Substance Abuse Assessment; Substance Abuse Counseling; Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Services (IOP); Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) for DOT and more. Counseling Services moves beyond the typical assessment approach that identifies only the history of use and coping skills deficits. The Choices! approach incorporates a variety of formal assessment tools and interview to understand the full scope and history of the substance use, the benefit of the usage, and the client’s motivation to stop using. Further, the client’s thought processes supporting the substance use and his or her defense system against negative emotions are identified. The final aspect of the assessment involves the identification of life events that may have associated shame messages contributing to the client’s use of substances. The findings from these areas of assessment are compiled into an in-depth report with recommendations that identify the appropriate treatment for the physical, psychological, and personality aspects related to substance use and guides the client onto the road for long term sustained recovery. Intensive Outpatient and Individual Counseling that’s intensive, therapeutic, educational and which holds the client accountable. Evidence based utilizing Transtheoretical Change, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Research. For more information please contact Choices Counseling Services.
