Robert W. Dail Memorial Treatment Center
Robert W. Dail Memorial Treatment Center: Over 40 years of research and clinical experience have proven methadone treatment to be the most effective way of treating opioid addiction. Patients must attend the program daily in the first few weeks to receive medication. Attendance is gradually reduced as the patient becomes stable, is able to stop using illicit opioid or other drugs and is actively working on their program of recovery. Patients get a physical exam including labwork when admitted and a thorough assessment of their situation so that we may assist them in addressing all of the areas of their life affected by addiction. Treatment is confidential, but patients are encouraged to include family or significant others in their program of education about addiction and recovery. Successful recovery from this devastating illness is possible but requires work, a team effort and a positive attitude towards oneself. Our Mission is To reduce the negative effects of opioid addiction for those afflicted and affected so that each individual’s unique contribution to community life can be enhanced. For more information please contact Robert W. Dail Memorial Treatment Center.

The Rockdale Houses
The Rockdale Houses for Men and Women are long-term residential recovery programs for alcoholics and addicts. The program was founded in 1974 and is a Certified Recovery Residence through the Department of Human Resources. Our goal is to help men and women restore their lives, become productive members of society, and offer assistance to families. Completion of the program requires stable employment, a sober environment in which to live and a positive attitude. The program is a minimum of four months; however, an individual may stay longer if there is a need. It is a proven fact that the longer an alcoholic / addict is in a protected environment the better the chance at sobriety. Residents are taught the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and have individual counseling sessions, life skills groups, anger management classes, active parenting classes, relapse prevention groups and alcohol / drug education while in the program. Families also are offered education on addiction as well as recovery. Each house is staffed twenty-four hours a day by individuals who are in recovery. This approach allows residents the opportunity to model themselves after the success of someone who has had the same experiences and is recovering successfully. In addition, both houses have certified addiction counselors on staff. For more information please contact The Rockdale Houses.

Alliance Recovery Center
Alliance Recovery Center was established in 1996 as an outpatient methadone treatment facility in Decatur, Georgia. We have been using Methadone and Buprenorphine (Suboxone & Subutex) to treat heroin addiction and addiction to prescription opioid pain medication (Lortab, Percocet, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Dilaudid, Morphine, Roxycodone, Fentanyl, etc.) in the Atlanta area for over 15 years. Alliance Recovery Center employs an experienced medical staff and a professional master’s level counseling staff. In 2005 we opened in Conyers, Georgia in order to serve Newton, Rockdale, Henry, Clayton, and Walton counties. Both of our clinics share the same commitment to providing the highest level of care to our clients in order to treat opioid dependence. Treatment at Alliance Recovery Center is for the highly motivated individual who is seriously seeking help. We are not a typical “Methadone Clinic”. Treatment here is therapy oriented. The emphasis is not placed on the medication. Our master’s level counseling staff helps our clients eliminate their addictive behaviors and resolve the issues that may have turned them to drug abuse through individual and group counseling. Newport Intergrated Behavioral Healthcare
Newport Intergrated Behavioral Healthcare: Newport substance abuse treatment philosophy is based on the belief that chemical dependence is a disease, which affects the individual’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and social life. At the level of dependence, the individual treats his / her moods and feelings with substances, and his / her behavior becomes more and more instinctual. Newport believes that detoxification from chemicals and freedom from physical withdrawal and pain is a necessary first step in the journey of recovery and sobriety. Addiction to drugs is not infectious; what is infectious is sobriety. Every family, every friend, every taxpayer, loves a sober addict. Treatment is superior to incarceration. More than 50% of clients with severe mental illness have co-occurring substance use problems. An integrated treatment under the same roof, by the same inter-disciplinary treatment teams, has been shown to produce better outcome. Our “mission” is to provide integrated behavioral, psychiatric, and substance abuse services that are accessible, effective, safe, efficient, and appropriate to the needs of the consumers and his / her family; to be grounded in “Best Practices” with the ability to manage change. We are committed to provide quality services to our consumers and their families with respect, dignity, compassion, and genuine care. There is no set length of treatment time because, as with any other medical condition, many factors must be considered. A serious commitment is required for complete independence from opioids. While some patients are able to graduate from a methadone treatment program, for others it is a lifelong need, and necessary for reaching and maintaining a gratifying and quality lifestyle.
Regardless of whether a patient chooses complete detoxification or an on-going maintenance program, SGTC will work with each patient to successfully achieve the chosen goal. The mission of SGTC is to provide the highest level of holistic healthcare (body, mind, and spirit) during your rehabilitative process, while at the same time adhering to all State, Federal, and other regulations regarding opiate treatment. |
We provide the opportunity for counseling by qualified, caring volunteers. Our staff includes Administrators, a Licensed Physician, Registered and Licensed Nurses, Pharmacists, Counselors and Receptionist, as well as a volunteer Chaplain.
