Fairbanks
Fairbanks is a not for profit alcohol and drug treatment center. We are the oldest independent alcohol and drug treatment center in America. We started treating alcoholic men in 1945 in a house on Alabama street in Indianapolis, Indiana. We now serve men, women and adolescents and their families who struggle with addiction from the Midwest and from around the country. Services include: Detoxification; Rehabilitation; Residential Services; Outpatient Care; Supportive Living; Intensive Outpatient; Education Groups; Substance Abuse Education and more. When you or your family seek help at Fairbanks, the first step is talking with an addiction professional in our access center. This process provides our professional staff an opportunity to ask about your medical history, drug and alcohol use, how you are feeling now and what brought you to Fairbanks. Following this assessment, the team will recommend an appropriate level of treatment, which can include either detox, rehab or outpatient services. During this initial evaluation, a treatment plan can be devised that is personalized and just right for you and your family. At Fairbanks, we provide individualized care. That means we listen to you, ask questions about your use of alcohol and / or drugs, your medical history and how your use has affected your life. Together, we then create a customized recovery plan that works for you. If you or a loved one has a problem with alcohol or drugs, we can help. Use our website to find out more about our rehab and recovery programs, and when you are ready, give us a call. We’ll be here, ready to answer your questions.

Southwestern
Southwestern: Over the past three decades, Southwestern has specialized in treating addiction, and we offer a continuum of services to help patients who are recovering from addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling, and other addictions. Outpatient treatment for addiction is available at all of our outpatient offices in Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties. Those who need more intense treatment may prefer to seek services at our Stepping Stone location on Evansville’s east side at 4001 John Street. At Stepping Stone, we offer the entire continuum of care for addiction – from outpatient to residential services – within the walls of one facility. Patients may participate in different programs as they progress through recovery. Southwestern gives priority to women, pregnant women, women with children, and IV drug users. The Detoxification Unit at Stepping Stone has continued to evolve to fill a needed role in the continuum of care for the chemically dependent population of the Tri-State. Over the past several years, the only patients detoxified in inpatient hospital settings are those who are suffering from potentially life threatening withdrawal states. This leaves a sizable group who, due to physical distress or an overwhelming compulsive pattern of use, find it impossible to successfully detoxify themselves in their current living environments. The Substance Abuse Treatment Initiative (SATI) is a treatment program for youth 12 to 18 years old. It is designed to provide area youth and their families with an effective research-supported alternative. For more information please contact Southwestern.

At Pro-Active Resources, we do not believe that “one size fits all” when it comes to the clinical needs of our clients. Therefore, we offer a variety of services that can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client we treat. Pro-Active Resources offers the following outpatient alcohol and drug services to our clients: Individual Counseling; Marital (couples) / Family Counseling; Extended Outpatient Treatment Program (EOP); Education programs that can be combined with treatment or counseling, if necessary; Referral to another level of care; Each of the outpatient services we provide may be enhanced by the client also participating in one of our education programs (See Education Programs). It is also possible that a client may participate in the Extended Outpatient Treatment Program and also receive Individual counseling and/or marital or family counseling. If you, or someone you care about, may have a problem with drugs, alcohol or other personal problems and might need help, we are only a phone call away. We utilize an answering service for 24 / 7 access if you have an emergency after hours that cannot wait until the office is open and one of our staff will return your call as soon as possible.
