Rainbow’s End Recovery Center
Rainbow’s End Recovery Center is a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility located in the mountains of central Idaho on the Salmon River near Challis. We were established as dual-diagnosis treatment center for alcohol and drug addicted adult clientele suffering from co-occurring mental conditions, such as PTSD. At Rainbow’s End Recovery Center we provide a comfortable, homelike environment for our residents in semi-private rooms with separate residences for men and women. An institutional setting is not always conducive to recovery. Taking you away from your home and daily life is stressful enough without the added stress of being locked into an institution. You are here to be treated for your drug and alcohol addictions, not punished for them. Addiction is an illness; we want to help make you well. We are as much committed to your comfort and well-being as we are to your treatment program and recovery. Rainbow’s End Recovery Center is a unique, private facility with stunning views of wilderness and wildlife from every window. Your daily routine may include time to enjoy this natural beauty by watching eagles or big horn sheep, fly fishing or lazing in a hammock, gardening or grooming Cocoa, our quarter horse, who would love to have you brush her, for a bit of animal assisted therapy. We at Rainbow’s End Recovery Center want to help our clients build a life without drugs and alcohol, which they have come to depend on for comfort and security. Treatment and therapies must be adjusted as the resident progresses in his recovery. An aftercare plan will be developed for relapse prevention prior to the resident’s release. This could include contact with a mental health professional, a strong support system of sober friends and a spiritual advisor, as well as continuing contact with RERC staff and annual weekend retreats for alumni clients. For more information please contact Rainbow’s End Recovery Center.

Port of Hope
Port of Hope offers many different forms of counseling, both group and individual, for people with substance abuse problems as well as their families. Many of our counselors are themselves recovering addicts and alcoholics, giving them insight into the experiences and problems that our clients face. Port of Hope is a non-medical facility. We don't give you new drugs to get you off old ones. We do, however, have medical centers near each of our locations on the occasion that medical assistance is required, though it is rarely needed. We are licensed by the state of Idaho and meet all of the stringent federal standards of health and safety.
Our program is demanding, and admission is only granted to those that are truly desiring lasting treatment. The road to recovery is not easy, but with help and determination, it is always possible.

Port of Hope's purpose is to give men and women the tools they need to guide themselves down the road to lasting recovery. Port of Hope provides its inpatient residents with a warm, home-like environment during their road to detoxification and recovery. Members of our intensive residential treatment program stay at the facility for 35 days, attending classes and therapy sessions as part of our non-medical social detoxification program.
Port of Hope offers outpatient group counseling sessions on-site at both its Nampa and Coeur d'Alene locations. Group therapy sessions can help clients see that they are not alone and provide a positive, safe environment to interact and work towards recovery with others in similar situations. If a client needs more one-on-one attention, individual counseling with our staff of professionals is also available. Port of Hope offers an intensive outpatient program designed and tailored specifically for each individual client's needs. For more information please contact Port of Hope.

The Benewah Medical and Wellness Center
The Benewah Medical and Wellness Center (BMC / WC) is located in Benewah County in the Panhandle of Idaho on the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation. The organization allows for the maximum flexibility of patient care activities while still promoting coordination of services. Community Health staff interact with clients in the home or school settings linking them with appropriate medical, mental health, nutrition, rehabilitation, and wellness programs. Standing meetings are scheduled with cross-functional teams to assist in delivering effective and coordinated quality care, reducing the amount of time away from delivery of direct patient care. Nearly all directors and managers are themselves clinicians, thereby keeping in touch with grass-roots perspectives on care so critical to the organization's success. Services include: Psychosocial / psychiatric evaluations; Individual psychotherapy / counseling services for all age groups; Family and marital / couples counseling; Crisis intervention; Facilitation for inpatient Mental Health treatment; Emotional Brain Training groups (weight management and other excesses); Light therapy treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD); Consultation and training to Benewah Medical Center staff and community groups; Supervision of students in the mental health disciplines; Alcohol and drug evaluations / court ordered and non-court ordered; Outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs including individual and group substance abuse counseling for adults and adolescents; Facilitation for inpatient substance abuse treatment. It is our goal to serve our community by providing on-site and outreach services and activities aimed towards prevention, thereby empowering those we serve to take control of their own health and wellness. MK PLACE
MK PLACE is designed to achieve permanent changes in an adolescent’s life. To accomplish this we address major developmental, lifestyle, attitudinal and behavioral issues which can undermine the goals of treatment or inhibit the individual’s ability to cope with major life or developmental tasks. MK PLACE helps adolescents to: Find a valued place in a constructive group; Develop a sense of self-worth; Achieve a reliable basis for making informed choices; Learn to use the support systems available to them; Express constructive curiosity and exploratory behavior; Believe in a promising future with real opportunities; Find ways of being useful to others. MK understands that clients with substance abuse issues can and do enter recovery lifestyles. Effective treatment can result in abstinence and provide tremendous health, social, and spiritual benefits to the client. MK PLACE is committed to providing a therapeutic environment that promotes and encourages recovery by applying principles of human learning (nonjudgmental, empathy, positive regard) to facilitate the replacement of maladaptive behaviors with more adaptive ones. Our theoretic framework includes three primary components: Cognitive-Behavioral Strategies, Motivational Enhancement Techniques, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria (ASAM-PPCR2), a clinical guide for matching patients to the appropriate level of care. Rathdrum Counseling Center
Rathdrum Counseling Center: Our mission is to help reduce the unnecessary suffering caused by substance use and mental health disorders. We accomplish this in part by taking an eclectic approach to treatment using a wide variety of behavioral techniques, including motivational interviewing, motivational enhancement, harm reduction strategies and cognitive behavioral therapies. Upper Valley Resource and Counseling Center
Upper Valley Resource and Counseling Center was established in response to the growing Substance Abuse and Mental Health treatment needs of Southeastern Idaho. Upper Valley is locally owned and operated and focused on meeting the needs of the residents of the Upper Snake River Valley. Our mission is to provide community services that are timely, empowering, and based on sound psychosocial principles. Our Substance Abuse Treatment Program is designed to assist individuals to recognize things that trigger their use and help them to learn the skills they can use to overcome their addictions. Individual Counseling: The primary purpose of therapy is to address the issues that make it hard for the individual to manage their lives and achieve their goals. The therapy will help the individual to discover what areas of their lives are causing problems and set goals to resolve these problems. Motivational Enhancement: The Motivation Enhancement program is designed to help people move through the stages of change and toward changing substance abuse. Relapse Prevention: Using the Hazelden Recovery Plan's "Help Series", clients are taught about the core issues in addiction and recovery. This program focuses on helping learn which recovery techniques are relevant and useful for each individual by connecting concepts with life experiences and interests, experimenting with new behaviors in a safe environment, and making concrete plans to use new behaviors in daily life. Cognitive Self-Change Cognitive Self-Change is a cognitive behavioral self-risk management program that incorporates behavioral techniques and stresses the need for creating a social learning environment.
