The Central Kansas Foundation
The Central Kansas Foundation has a long history of serving individuals and families who are desperate for hope and help. It may take one major incident or it may take years of repeated problems for an individual to seek help for their addiction. Whatever the precipitating factor(s), when an individual is ready for help it is CKF’s commitment to be there to provide hope. Promoting healthy, alcohol, tobacco and other drug free living is the primary goal of our Prevention and Education Department. An assessment, completed by a licensed addictions counselor, helps sort out issues so that appropriate services can be recommended. Our Outpatient options provide multiple levels of care, depending on the severity of the problem. When your needs can't be met through outpatient services, a 24-hour therapeutic environment is available. The Pathfinder Recovery Center is a community service accessible to any individual, family or community member who needs information about addiction, or recovery and support throughout the recovery stages. CKF has a Licensed Addictions Counselor on-site at both Salina Regional Health Center and Salina Family Healthcare Center to assess and coordinate treatment. Whether you are in need of substance abuse treatment, or are looking for a speaker on a health related topic, we would like to be your resource in the Salina and surrounding communities. For more information please contact the Central Kansas Foundation.

While at Home Ties, young men are expected to attend school, work on earning a GED, or hold down a job. They also complete scheduled chores, such as washing their own clothes and helping with house upkeep, for a small allowance each week. Staff monitor personal hygiene, study time, bed time, etc. The ultimate goal of Home Ties is to provide these young men a nurturing setting that will facilitate their successful transition to a less restrictive environment such as home, foster care or independent living.
